Get to Know Dr. Edward Rowland

Odessa’s Gentle Chiropractor, Rooted in West Texas
When you walk into Rowland Chiropractic, you’re greeted not just by a chiropractor, but by someone who’s been part of the West Texas community for more than four decades. Dr. Edward Rowland is a fourth-generation Texan whose family has called this region home since the 1880s. Since 1978, he has lived in Midland/Odessa, building his career, raising his family, and serving the community.A Chiropractor with Deep Local Roots
Dr. Rowland’s path to chiropractic care is as unique as it is grounded. Before opening his practice, he worked as a massage therapist, a roughneck in the oilfield, a Petroleum Museum director for 17 years, and even served as an artillery captain in the U.S. Army. Each role sharpened his skills in leadership, problem-solving, and caring for people.
Those diverse experiences shaped his approach to chiropractic care today: practical, patient-focused, and tailored to the individual.
Philosophy of Care
At Rowland Chiropractic, Dr. Rowland practices “chiropractic without the crunch”—a gentle, low-force approach that helps patients feel safe and supported. With more than 20 years of chiropractic experience, he combines this technique with soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation, and Total Body Modification to provide care that goes beyond symptom relief.
His focus is simple: treat the root cause, restore function, and make chiropractic care comfortable and effective for every patient—from infants to seniors to veterans.
